Momma’s primary job is taking care of Charlie and Olivia.
Full-time. Around-the-clock. No clocking out.
She wants to go to nursing school so she can be properly trained and paid through insurance to care for Charlie long-term. The catch? Charlie needs 24-hour care, and Momma can’t go to school until there’s another fully trained adult in the house. That becomes possible once they have their own place.
If nursing school isn’t an option, she’s also looking at getting her real estate license. Until then, she works from home in short, chaotic bursts of 2–3 hours on, 2–3 hours off. In that time, she:
- writes books
- makes things
- creates art
- builds this website
If it can be done in pieces, she’s doing it.

Momma LOVES Deadpool.
Not Ryan Reynolds (he’s neat-o).
Deadpool.
If someone brings Deadpool-level confidence, attitude, and character, she’s ride-or-die. Yes, romantically. Yes, forever. No, she will not be taking questions at this time.
She also loves:
- movie theater popcorn drowned in butter
- anything coconut
- essential oils and good smells
- Anthony Hopkins
- embarrassing her kids
- boots
She’s extremely frugal with most things… except food. She will search clearance racks, discount aisles, and her own fabric stash before paying full price. Sometimes she just stares at something long enough and figures out how to make it herself.
She’s generous, empathetic, and always ready to help someone else.
She smiles easily.
She sings often.
She may break into song with zero warning.

She sounds great, right?
Almost perfect.
She isn’t.
Momma is stubborn. She puts things exactly where she wants them so she knows where they are, even if that place makes no sense to anyone else. Her personal space can look like a cluttered mess but it’s actually organized chaos. She’s blunt, sarcastic, and unfiltered, though she’d usually rather laugh than argue. She’s a talker and will absolutely answer questions you didn’t ask yet. (Like now?)
Her biggest flaw?
Not asking for help.
She hates being a burden, so she carries more than she should. Usually quietly. Usually smiling. Sometimes exhausted.
One of her passions is writing. She has several unfinished novels that she’ll get to when she has time but for now she’s focusing on the Charlie Carrot children’s books. She feels it’s important to get Charlie’s voice out there and a desire to let others know they’re not alone in how they look at things.
In addition to writing and sewing, Momma also draws and paints.
If you like her art, it’s available through Fine Art America, where it can be printed on mugs, phone cases, beach towels, and more.
