The $5 Slushie to Brick Challenge- Gift a Slushie
Okay… full honesty….Charlie can’t have slushies….but Momma can!
Venmo may ask you to confirm the last 4 digits of my phone number: 6672
This fundraiser would be the equivalent of 100,000 kind-hearted people saying, “I’ve got you, Momma,” with a $5 slushie.
Instead of slushies, the funds will go toward something even more important: a safe, accessible forever home for Charlie, his family, and to sustain his continued care. But the home comes first! We can do this! One brick at a time.
A home where:
- Charlie can safely receive his medical care without training in parkour
- His medical equipment fits without hanging it in hammocks from the ceiling
- His family can focus on caring for him instead of, y’know, living in a cardboard box.
It takes a village sometimes…and this family is bravely asking their village to show up.
All it takes is a stadium full of Taylor Swift fans gifting $5 over the next six months. Basically…one slushie each!
Can you hook Momma up with a slushie?
$5 doesn’t change a life by itself…but thousands of $5 gifts absolutely can! Takes about 10 seconds. No account changes required. You can also schedule a recurring slushie monthly…or even weekly.
All gifts go directly to support Charlie and his family. Always. (Though when they grow up they’d like to help others and donate to research…)
Don’t have Venmo but want to gift? You can also use:
If you don’t have a spare 5-spot right now, you can still help!
Please share, share, share.

Share with Ryan Reynolds (hi, Deadpool!).
Share with Wolverine (hi Hugh 👋).
Don’t share with Francis. He’s mean.
If some random guy can get $1,000,000 gifted to him by asking for beer money, surely many of you sweethearts can spare $5…not for beer, but for a forever home for Charlie and his family. (And if you read the article…yes, that incredible gentleman donated 99.9% of it to a children’s hospital. Absolute. Legend. Hats off to you, sir!)
I hate to beg. I really do. So please, please, please, please, on my hands and knees, don’t make me beg. (See what I did there? ;-))
